This is what they have to say:
“On my recent visit to the 40 Days for Life vigil in Milwaukee, the abortion center put a sign in their window asking for contributions to ‘pledge to end harassment’,” and go on to add, “This childish reaction speaks to the effectiveness of the prayer that they view as ‘harassment’. ”

They include in their blog post a photo of the Forty 4 Forty sign in the window. Check out the photo to see just how close the protestors are to the clinic and how easy it is for them to harass patients of Affiliated Medical Services.

In preparation for his visit, we made sure the Forty 4 Forty banner was prominently displayed for him. Make you pledge to keep those numbers moving up!

We are excited to have Affiliated Medical Services in Milwaukee working with us this year. This clinic is particularly hard-hit by harassment as picketers accost patients as they enter the building.

Wednesday at Affiliated included a group of protestors in the morning, then alternating pairs throughout the day. And a visit from the (official?) protestmobile.

These are two of the biggest 40 Days sites in Wisconsin, and we are letting the picketers know that their harassment is raising funds for the pro-choice movement. One of the folks involved in the 40 Days of Harassment at Family Planning Health Services in Wausau describes our  Forty 4 Forty response to their demonstrations as “quite a battle” and promises to pray a rosary for every pledge we receive. Keep the pledges coming!

    March 25th, 2010 at 1:27 pm We are experiencing quite a battle in Wausau Wisconsin! We pray in front of a “family planning” clinic that does not actually perform surgical abortions. They are extremely abortion-minded, however, and freely give information about where to obtain abortions, but never refer to our local crisis pregnancy center. Recently, they started a campaign that they call “forty4forty.org” to end harassment. They try to portray us as rowdy and intimidating, when we are actually peacefully and quietly praying. They are asking members of our community to pledge $40 to benefit NARAL Pro-choice Wisconsin, so that we know that through our presence, we are raising money for the pro-choice cause.

    Our members have stood strong in our convictions, and continue to peacefully pray next to the forty4forty banner! We are going to pledge to pray a rosary for every pledge that they receive. In the last 3 1/2 weeks, they have received 63 pledges. We have well over 100 prayers, so that won’t be hard to match!!

    We know that we are educating our community, and our prayers are having an effect, or they wouldn’t be working so hard to get rid of us!
